Over my 28 years of chiropractic experience, I’ve found some common threads in people’s healing. One is a sense of purpose and belonging, and the other is the appropriate expression and processing of emotions.
Your body is a direct reflection of what’s going on inside you spiritually and emotionally. The more completely you handle emotional upsets and tune in to what Spirit is telling you, the higher level of health your body can express.
There are several books written on the subject of how our emotions affect our health. Some of my favorites are Feelings Buried Alive Never Die by Karol Truman, Heal Your Body by Louise Hay, The Creation of Health by Carolyn Myss and Norman Shealy, and Releasing Emotional Patterns with Essential Oils by Carolyn Mein.
These resources offer different ways to deal with healthy expression spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Whether you choose to use the methods described in one or all of these resources, talk to a counselor, come in for an Emotional Release session, or another way, it is important for your health and those around you to deal with all aspects of your being.
