“God inhabits the praises of His people” (Psalm 22:3)
If there are times that you have been praying about something and the answer doesn’t seem to be coming any closer, try Praising God for the answer! In Acts 13:2, Simeon, Barnabas, and Saul were ministering to the Lord and the Holy Spirit spoke. The word “ministering” in this instance means “publicly praising”. Later, while Paul and Silas were locked up in prison, they had prayed, but it was while they were singing praises that the angel shook those locks off their wrists and the doors and got them free! (Acts 17:24-25).
It has been said that praise is the highest form of prayer or faith. There certainly is great power in our praise, as God is right there as we are praising Him!
