Fermented foods are one important key to good health. Since digestive health sets the stage for our entire level of wellness, supporting your colonies of beneficial bacteria is a great idea!
One easy way to do this is to include fermented foods such as sauerkraut and pickles in your daily food program. I love all things fermented, kefir (homemade with raw milk), miso, kombucha, etc. My favorite brand of sauerkraut is Wildbrine. My current favorite flavors are Brusse Kraut (nicely spicy, but not as spicy as Kim Chi) and Red Beet(<3 me some beets) and Cabbage.
As with any fermented food, start out slowly. I recommend 1 TBSP at meal times, working up to 1/4 cup. ENJOY!
